Both lost with in minutes of each other but you can’t be too upset.
I think UNLV has improved a lot defensively (football) and to be honest, with an extended o-fer, I expected him to lose the players. He didn’t. They got better. And I hate silver linings and could haves, but this team could have 2-3 more wins. Even 4. We need to hit the ground running early instead of figuring it out 6 weeks in. But the effort and improvement is there.
Hoops, we finally played a non crappy team and it showed at times. But I thought they competed well and it was a good showing. It shows that we aren’t in a good spot in our history when a good showing is a double digit home loss, but it is what it is. Still, top to bottom, start to finish this team looks more the part that any we’ve seen recently. Not a world beater, but pretty decent and they appear to have enough talent and toughness to compete.
