I am hearing a lot about how important this game is tonight. It's for first place in the conference. It may also decide who will win the conference. If the winner goes unbeaten in conference play it may have New Years Day Bowl opportunities. All this was said yesterday by Rick Neuheisel on the Full Ride sxm show.

I could not believe what I was hearing. Can't wait until game time.

It’s a huge game for the program’s future but UNLV could go 12-1 with a conference championship and I still don’t think they make a NYD 6.

I can’t wait for the game tonight. I’m reluctantly optimistic and my calendar is clear. Just me, the TV, food, and a drink…a Mormon drink.

I gotta have a beer. At least one. 4-0 with beers, Disneyland and no beers screwed us vs Cal.

Last week was 2nd half beers because I was tied up at work before that …

Have a beer Reagan, that’ll make it a blowout.

I had a former co-worker that would jokingly refer to this as Rated "R" movie night. It cracked me up that he would catch up on all of the movies that he wanted to watch that he normally would watch because of his wife's disapproval.
My wife took the kids to Huntington Beach for a week like 10 years ago. It was right before the last 8 episodes of Breaking Bad were set to air. I didn’t go to work for 5 days and watched 5.5 seasons in 5 days.

Winner tonight is probably the West Division favorite. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen but at 3-0 I’d feel like we have a decent chance at making the MWC championship game.
Especially wife Reno, Hawaii, and Fresno at home left on the schedule.

And it was right after UNLV lost to Cal in the NCAAT … I know because I watched the first 4.5 seasons starting a week or so before we drove up there and finished it (up to the first half of season 5). And that cliffhanger. Wow.

The guys were “what’s going on with all the oh my gods and holy shits”? They hadn’t watched it at all. But they ended up all watching.

Greatest show of all time. Period.

And you’re getting old, bud. That ended in 2013.

Remember the other options for those New Years bowl games are 5-0 Coastal Carolina and Memphis, Cincinnati, UCF, and Tulane all at 4-1. If we get past SJSU and Airforce I like our chances. I am not sure how our strength of schedule is in comparison to those other teams. This program could be something special this year.

In terms of West division the game is huge winner is up a game and would have tiebreaker. Means Rebs would need help.

I like what I see so far, but these next 5 are the toughest stretch.

Possible Rebs drop a few. But going 4-1 to start season has set them up nicely for bowl eligibility...

Yeah I'd love for them to win MWC championship, but with how long we've been down a bowl game of any type would be nice and a freat step in the right direction.

Isn't English Fun?
Then you learn other language who use the same word with the same spelling but mean entirely different for different situation.

The English language is backward to other language across the planet. "School bus" in every other language is " Bus school" including some Latin derivatives.

man, I thought Brum was ready for the NFL after this year. Nope!

Makes you wonder what the coaching staff did all week to prepare for such a “big” game. Complete no shows and a comedy of errors out there.

I will now lower my expectations for this years team. I thought we had something special but we are not ready for prime time. I am interested to see how we respond.

Was at a shinedown concert and first checked the score at 0-33…..seems like we have shat ourselves, Lads. Wish I could say I’m surprised but I’m not terribly upset either. Meh. Glad I didn’t watch. On to the next one.

That is where you go to learn to drive a bus...

As bad as this team looked, with or without brumfield, SDSU is more winnable than expected at beginning of year. AFA, ND, and Fresno (with healthy Haener), will be tough. Hawaii and reno should still be Ws. I'm thinking 7-5
For sure.

We’ve seen the good of the Rebels (against poor-ish teams). Now we’ve seen the bad of the Rebels (against a decent team).

But how’s Brum? He’s the strength of our offense. I think Friel is actually “ok”, not bad, but there’s a pretty big drop from Doug to him. And even if/when comes back … he’s fragile.

Auburn is not great, but it's a team that will maybe go .500 in the SEC and San Jose played them tight in an away game.

Spartans are a good football team. Looking at the remainder of their schedule, they could finish the year 10-2...

Solid QB, talented receiving Corp and really stout on defense especially the front 7..

The biggest issue with Doug going down is he hid a couple warts. Namely pass protection. Doug could get out of trouble when protection broke down. Friel isn't a statue, but he's not nearly as mobile as Doug.

If you happened to record the game go back to the first drive. Watch the play where the dude sacked Doug, when he swept his foot from under him. As Doug goes/going down another defender lands on his upper back/neck/head area. Doug gets up pretty quick, but does this little head shake. I honestly think he got a minor concussion there. It was exacerbated later on the play he threw it out of bounds and was shoved to the ground..He got up slow there and grabbed at his head.

Good eye.

Arroyo is too predictable on offense. Arroyo can recruit better than most and you can see some depth has been added but we still don’t have a decent offensive line, consistent pass rushers DE’s, pass coverage DB’s and I would take SJSU‘s Nevada transfer WR’s and TE’s over everyone we have except White. While it’s been fun the last several weeks, last night showed everyone that once again that the light UNLV was seeing at the end of the tunnel was actually a “reality freight train” running us over yet again. Reality is this team will battle to get to 6-6, maybe 7-5 which should have been the expectation in the first place! Arroyo will have to manipulate the transfer portal for even better players at OL, DE, WR, DL and CB this offseason to take an even bigger step next year or we could see 6-6 turn back into 4-5 wins based on the schedule we have.

Arroyo is a recruiter not a play caller. Oregon didn’t miss him when he left and to say he had anything to do with Herbert… I’d so why did Oregon let him walk if he did!
Oh jees! Man, something great happens once sine 2003....you going to bring some conspiracy sh!t? Go back and look at the history....

Man, I use to be the same damn way. F*cking blind as sh!t..

No man, that every other language but English. Just like no one else use yards and inches but rather Meters and millimetres...to keep it perspective. We're the backward culture, not the rest of the world.

Nope...

Meters and centimeters are easier to calculate and therefore show how lazy Eurpeans are. They can't handle the real math involved in the US system of inches, feet, yards, miles, pounds, etc...

'Bus of the school' is stupid. Just say School bus...Simple, easy, concise..

USA USA USA USA!
