I know a ton of us are thinking that Ben Carter is going to be a role player and do the dirty work needed to get W's, but I keep hearing similar things to what we heard about Pat McCaw last year before the season started. Carter worked hard in his year off, when he wasn't injured, and is competing at a very high level.

Even though Goodluck is probably going to in the starting role in the frontcourt along with Zimmerman, look for Carter to get starter minutes. Not only does he do all the "little things" that help a team win, he is also very talented for a player his size. He will be a very tough guard for opposing 4-men because he can stretch the floor, pass the ball, and knows how to get his teammates open.

Carter could really be the X-Factor on this year's club. He has that type of ability.

And the best news I heard was, when asked about his back, I got this as a response, "If he has a bad back, I wish every player on the team had a bad back."
