kick Augmon's ass to the curb too...that's if he's the one in charge of defense. i'm still pissed at him anyway for getting outplayed by a freshmen named Grant Hill.

Defense is not the issue well defensive sets at least ...year after year unlv doesn't move their feet and defend the dribble drive and this year they don't wana box out ...eventually you have to blame the players who seem to not be listening ...they rely too much on athletic ability ....it's a player problem not so much of a coaching issue ...
Not seeing any development at all which what Augmon did at Denver.
Hard for players to emulate what he did or have them do what you did.

last player who could prevent penetration was Hawkins and even he went south his senior year.

Been saying that since day one. Players will have fire when coach has fire or lights a fire under their sac which rice is clearly lacking. They all play like they are cool guys and want to look cool so they can impress their baby mommas etc. Wood is the laziest player I have ever seen and his nickname should be Mr. Cool Guy. Anyone can see that from his body language on the court and especially from that gay ass muscle flex when you are getting beat down and you have nothing to flex!!!
