I am starting to wonder how much $$$$ will be allotted for the next coach. The boosters got their guy the last time. Looking like close to 2 million to get a solid coach. UNLV's Gameday expenses go up 3x next year in the new stadium. Also they have not announced any of the corporate sponsors for Allegiant. DRF has a lot on her plate.
Amazing how many of them make more than what UNLV has been willing to pay a HC. It really shows the difference between the haves (P5) and have nots (everybody else).
Its part of the reason trying to lure a top flight assistant away to take the HC job here can be problematic.
They may be more inclined to wait it out for a bigger G5 job or a P5 job.
UNLV even with the new facilities is still probably viewed as risky job.
The rumors of the AD looking to move up don't help either. Coaches like security and any possible change at AD can upset that.
