UNLV has looked great in the last part of the season which has a lot to do with Kruger doing a great coaching job. Even with Hamilton having a bad game, they still won!

I hate the thought of playing SDSU in our first game in the MWCT, tho.

I agree 100%. On the other hand, beating the Aztecs would be a great win for the rebels.
Look on the bright side. If we manage to beat SDSU our chances to win the tourney goes way up because their isn't another team that has our number like SDSU does.
I think UNLV is pretty much locked into the fifth seed. I don’t see FSU winning both and us losing to UNM, all three have to happen for us to move to sixth.
I think it will end up being Wyoming in fourth. I think SDSU will win against FSU and on the road at Nevada with Wyoming maybe even losing to FSU. This would put BSU and Wyoming in the top half with us and CSU, SDSU, FSU and Utah St. all in the bottoms half. I think this would be the best draw UNLV could have asked for imo. I am not saying they will win but it doesn’t setup any better.

I agree. I think it's more likely that we get either Wyo or CSU in the 4/5 matchup. SDSU finishes no worse than 3rd. I like our setup. Rebel fans need to come out of their long hibernation.
That may be the best outcome for us. I’d rather some other team take the first shot at SDSU or better yet meet them in the championship game. Then again, having time to prepare for them and playing SDSU first could give us the best shot at beating them. Man, I dunno. I’m just tired of SDSU. or any MW team.celebrating a championship in our house.
I may be in the minority on this one but I liked the idea of us getting SDSU first. It would give us more time to prepare vs them and also if we are going to win this thing we are gonna have to beat them eventually why not play them when there’s absolutely no added pressure of “win this game and we break the streak of no NCAA’s”.
could you imagine the level of pressure that’d be on this teams shoulders if they met SDSU in the finals. For what it’s worth I like our chances vs them whenever we meet them so why not send them packing round 1.
