UNLV has gone the way of USF (well, up until recently). It's sad to see.

True, except USF has a much more storied history, and has been the the Tourney since UNLV last has.

The young guys in this board that were 10 or 11 the last time UNLV made a semifinal probably should be told that opposing MWC coaches used to complain that UNLV had an unfair advantage playing the MWCT on their home court. I swear it’s true, even played the Tourney in Denver for a few years.

And ironically - or maybe not - UNLV made the finals in the two non-Vegas years.

SDSU is what UNLV should be but when it comes to athletics, UNLV is what the Aztecs scrape off the bottom of their shoes!
