Just a three years ago UCLA after going through their coaching search ultimately hires Steve Alford away from New Mexico for $2.6 mill.
UNLV will find out very shortly if Mick Cronin accepts the job and it appears that Frank Martin is a potential candidate waiting in the wings. With all of UCLA's national titles and built in advantages IMO if UNLV can land either MC or FM it's coaching search and hire will be more successful than UCLA's. Just something to think about.
