A Good Night TO BE A Rebels Fan!

Basketball game was fun to watch. Jordan McCabe is a true PG and floor general. This group should have a decent season. Exciting brand of basketball and they get after it. Should be a fun season.
I have not been to high on McCabe but he showed me a little bit tonight.
Is McCabe an underclassman or is he done after this year?

He had a sick ball fake that led to an easy lay-in. Maybe the highlight of the night.

I think he has one more year after this due to COVID year
He is in grad school, but your right.

He redeemed the point guard position. I thought this was the beginning of top level D1 at UNLV. Passing was great, driving layups were the low point but it is early. Mc Cabe is for real, ditto the starting 9. No real drop off and Stretch Donovan played tough.

You know what would make it better is if the Zags blow out Texas! "F" That 🤡 Beard
They took down Texas with a vengeance. Texas is undersized and will have some trouble in the paint all year. Great individual players but size matters inside.

Same. I wasn't totally sold on McCabe as our starting point guard but I like what I saw. Coleman is steady at the point but McCabe looks like an actual floor general with his head up surveying the court. It'll be nice once the team gets a good feel for each others styles and tendencies.

Just crossing my fingers we aren't havening a solid year, and near the end when our hopes are up, McCabe gets injured (like Long a few seasons ago).

McCabe is good, but I think we could plug that position nicely. We have a handful of guys that can handle the rock. A good problem to have. However, I can think of two other guys you do NOT want to lose over the season that are pretty much impossible to backup - at least from what Ive seen thus far.
