With the NIL and now revenue sharing stuff, it's actually pretty important. You'd hate to hear the commentator saying,
Jimmy won't be playing in this game as he's currently suspended due to not meeting his safe harbor tax payment after last seasons NIL payments

Definitely just for the players, they should know how to handle their finances, pay bills and not be reliant on anyone for the basics!
