We are ranked 25th nationally in three point percentage. We are 314th in three point attempts.

Four players on our team are shooting 40% or better from the ARC - Rishwain, Bedford, Henley and Thomas. Rishwain shoots 6+ a game, Bedford shoots 4+ a game, DJ shoots 3 a game and Henley shoots just less than 2 a game. ( Hill and Hicks are well below 30% shooters, average between 1 and 2 a game, and should only be shooting threes well into the clock and unopposed)

We currently shoot about 19 three's a game. But teams ranked around 50th shoot 27 per game - an 8 shot difference. Admittedly, if we shot more of them our percentage would most likely go down. But I don't believe so much it would overcome the benefit of shooting more from the ARC. And the benefits are more than added points. It should open up driving lanes for Hicks, DJ Henley, Bedford and Hill, open up Bear and cause some distant rebounds.

In the San Jose game we only took 13 three's. Thomas didn't take one.

We have an advantage we are not using to it's fullest. Of all the CKK teams, this is the first I've said we need to shoot more threes.
