To me, it is wild the drop off after 1-4. I think it's a decent fall off from 3 to 4, but in my opinion CSU is so far from 3rd in conference this season, they aren't even in the conversation.Love when there aren’t built in excuses for failure, when slow build isn’t in the vocabulary. Get down to business from day one and do all you can … respect.

I'd like to see Reno ranked 6th... in the MAC.Oh so sweetness Reno is last!
I'd like to see them ranked 13th in our conference.I'd like to see Reno ranked 6th... in the MAC.
That is a bummer. But you have to take care of your health first.Tedford stepping down again. Fresno about to free fall.
It's the 2nd time in the last yr he stepped aside. Have to think this time is probably final. Puts them in a real bind. That is a bummer. But you have to take care of your health first.
I know what you mean. That Houston game will really set the tone for the season. It is a winnable game and one I think they really need to win to have the season they expect and want. I have been on a number of UNLV road trips and have always gone for the experience of it. This will be the first ever where I expect us to win.First game of the season 6 weeks from today!! Man I haven’t anticipated a football season like this since… ever!!
I think a win at Houston could bring enough excitement to open up the next level for ticket sales in some games. It already looks like the Syracuse game is bringing in a big crowd from out of town and will easily sell out the lower section with wins in the games prior to Syracuse.I know what you mean. I went on one I expected to win but our QB decided to throw for 20 yards, 5 completions and 3 interceptions in a 7 point road loss.I know what you mean. That was a wet one!!!I went on one I expected to win but our QB decided to throw for 20 yards, 5 completions and 3 interceptions in a 7 point road loss.
I agree it can get them on a roll and really jump start ticket sales!I think a win at Houston could bring enough excitement to open up the next level for ticket sales in some games. The bigger the crowds and the more fans that visit from other schools, the more the value in the program will be seen by the LVAC!
lol sounds like he had a great game which one was that? Was that Arkansas? I remember JT had a game like that before we lost it on a punt.I went on one I expected to win but our QB decided to throw for 20 yards, 5 completions and 3 interceptions in a 7 point road loss.
Yeah, I got soaked. Enjoyed everything but the outcome. That was a wet one!!!
Arkansas State about 6 years ago. Armani’s arm was awful, though he ran well. Ark State fans weren’t happy, they didn’t expect a battle. And the snagged they W late but you could feel it coming.lol sounds like he had a great game which one was that? Was that Arkansas? I remember JT had a game like that before we lost it on a punt.
I forgot about that game didn’t JT have a similar game against Arkansas? Wow AR State that must have been a small town.Arkansas State about 6 years ago. Armani’s arm was awful, though he ran well. It was Jonesboro. Had to fly into Memphis and drive an hour or so if I recall.I forgot about that game didn’t JT have a similar game against Arkansas? Wow AR State that must have been a small town.
I did mean the Las Vegas Convention and visitors authority (LVCVA). If UNLV gets back to a national level, I wouldn't put it beyond possibility that they could get involved or other casinos if they think it could lead to an increase in tourism through playing top level teams in Las Vegas in the future.I agree it can get them on a roll and really jump start ticket sales!
If they can pay the WNBA team with our tax dollars then couldn't they pay the state subsidized (with our tax dollars) University to further promote the brand?I did mean the Las Vegas Convention and visitors authority (LVCVA). Why did you change your handle, PT? Did Bull bans you?If they can pay the WNBA team with our tax dollars then couldn't they pay the state subsidized (with our tax dollars) University to further promote the brand?
That other handle doesn't allow me to see any of these message boards. Why did you change your handle, PT? Did Bull bans you?
Actually you and me both I love visiting those towns. I will never forget when I moved from Vegas to DC I drove and stopped overnight in some small town in Arkansas and I went into some diner for breakfast and everyone was excited because some actress from Petticoat Junction was there. Lol it was like wow I really am in a small town! Then I stopped in some roadside diner for catfish in Mississippi and someone apparently saw me pull up in my convertible Camaro and this family came up to me in the restaurant and asked if I played in the NFL or was an actor because of my car.It was Jonesboro. Had to fly into Memphis and drive an hour or so if I recall.
I like going to new places. I liked the town. Small, comfy, cozy, people were friendly. Nice campus and stadium. Couldn’t buy liquor in the town, county was dry. But there are so many counties, there were probably 2 or 3 within a 10 minute drive (or so it seemed). We stayed a few days, got a VRBO and chilled a lot.
True if UNLV gets popular enough maybe they decide NIL contributions are in their best interest and it fuels success.I did mean the Las Vegas Convention and visitors authority (LVCVA). Easily justifiable expense from LVCVA if you ask me. Would need continued commitment to success and strong leadership on UNLV’s part. Would also need commitment for UNLV to schedule big OOC home games, to ensure visitors are coming.True if UNLV gets popular enough maybe they decide NIL contributions are in their best interest and it fuels success.
In Football back to back Notre Dame and Ohio State and in basketball North Carolina and Kentucky? We may as well go all in for broke!Easily justifiable expense from LVCVA if you ask me. I thought that is always the approach? It should always be the approach. In Football back to back Notre Dame and Ohio State and in basketball North Carolina and Kentucky? We may as well go all in for broke!
At home or home and home not only road games!I thought that is always the approach? It should always be the approach.
If you mean accuracy, then yes.Arkansas State about 6 years ago. Armani’s arm was awful, though he ran well. Ark State fans weren’t happy, they didn’t expect a battle. And the snagged they W late but you could feel it coming.
Is that bad?I went on one I expected to win but our QB decided to throw for 20 yards, 5 completions and 3 interceptions in a 7 point road loss.
