Someone had posted in another thread about recording UNLV's games, even if you're going, since that would technically show up in the media results. I think that's a great idea. Personally, I already have all of the UNLV (basketball and football) games set to record. However, if we could get a bunch of local residents to do the same, that could bump up the media numbers significantly. I mean, ideally, people would tune in and support UNLV, but this would still be helpful to the program.

So I thought I'd start this thread to throw out ideas of how to support UNLV in this digital age.

1. Cable - Set your TV to record all UNLV athletics events
2. Instagram - follow all official UNLV accounts, and interact with them. View the posts, like them, share them, etc.
3. X (Twitter) - same as on instagram

How can we get more 'impressions' and build up a bigger following than UNLV currently has?

We need players to keep flopping on the field to garner national attention...also, bad beats.

Sadly, that's the only way to get impressions, nationally. Need it done in 30 second clips.
What sort of flopping are you referring to?

Anyone have a clip of that? Funny as heck.

I can't remember who it was but we were trying to sub and we weren't going to have enough time so our right DE just fell to the ground. Woodward picked him up and luckily Kansas was slow to get the play in....they false start anyway.

FOUND IT

I thought the KU players laughed a little too hard and their bodies moved.

All I have is a streaming option. Using HULU Live TV do they have a way of counting who is watching the game via a stream?

I went to school in Boston. I met many students from MIT. They're different. Would be a good focus group to ask that question. One thing for sure, those people would not joke around. 15 years ago their idea was so outlandish but many of them came to fruition. I met the dude that developed Microsoft Messenger originally. Looks like an ET alien at the time to me.

I'm not sure. I'm sure there are some tech guys around here the could provide some more insight though. I know there was a guy that was converting a lot of the old Rebel bball games to digital that I think worked in programming. Can't remember his name of the top of my head though.

Last week was the anniversaryArkansas State flopped badly against the U and looked really bad.

UNLV immortalized against Kansas and it worked to perfection.

Shithousery is one of my favorite terms. A big thanks to Peter Crouch for teaching it to me on the greatest commie football podcast known to all of earth.
I need to listen to his podcast, I know it's really popular. I saw the bio on Crouch and it was really good. That guy caught so much sh&t and always remained positive and a good guy.

One of my favorite athletes. I liked the old podcast he had. About 18 months ago he went to a new format and dropped Stat Man Dave. It's still very good, but not as good as it once was.

When I need a good laugh I listen to the Jermain Defoe episode. So much greatness.

Nothing matters except winning. It will all happen organically once we continue to win at a consistently high level in both Basketball and Football.
