I’ve been around since the Rebels played their first football game in 1968 at the old Cashman Field. I’ve been excited at every hire the Rebs made. From Ron Meyer, Tony Knap, Nunnely, Strong, John Robinson, Sanchez and Arroyo. I’ve gone to the press conference announcing the new hires. Didn’t go to yours today Barry. Not because I’m not excited, just didn’t want to fight traffic, parking etc. I want to say, your opening statement and subsequent radio interviews blew me away. I’m ecstatic you are our ( my) new coach. You “get” it already. Make the team Vegas’s team. Recruit local players. Take advantage of being in the most exciting city in the USA.
