The NCAA tournament makes me sick!!!
For so many years, I was addicted. I took days off work. For years, I prided myself in seeing all or part of every single game. My bosses used to wink at me the first week in March and tell me I looked ill. And needed to stay home and rest.
From 1973-74, the Rebels had me hooked. Even the years they didn't go.
As of 3 days ago, I decided to break the addiction. Who cares? Rebs are also-rans.
Last night I watched the first two games. A-hole Wyo let's the league down again. Two Texas schools, whoever they are, battle it out
Then, tonight. Fred and Bill, or some guys, play the first game.
Then, Notre Dame and Rutgers. Two teams I dislike from the 1970's.
Double freaking overtime. I can't turn it off. I am hooked, damn jt!
Why can't it be something simple to kick, like booze or Crack?
Gotta go to bed. First game is 9:15 tomorrow.
