There’s a guy, tainted, but he just gets things done. Those are the types UNLV should have looked at heavily. Reduced cost because their tainted, but talented. But UNLV could never, would never look at a coach with any sort of history. And it’s sad. Obviously Pitino and Sampson fall into that category.
Still some other coaches I really like .. Painter, Wright … and teams that we might supposed to hate but I just don’t hate, like UNC.
UCLA, AZ, Indiana, UNR, Duke and a few others can go bite a dk. But there are some blue bloods I don’t mind even though a lot of our base despises them.
But watching Sampson - that’s a guy that UNLV could have had at some point along the way. He was desperate and available and we had a spot. Maybe more than one time?
