el yesterday at a blood drive for a kid we both know. The Dickels are here “for good” and his boys (one is an incoming freshman) are going to play for Arbor View. Dude wants nothing more than to coach at UNLV. He loves Vegas. Loves UNLV, and his wife was a UNLV cheerleader. I’ve known his wife since high school, she went to my rival school. She’s so happy to be home and not traveling the world. It looked like it wore on her.
I hope it works out for him at some point. Not going to lie, he’d do anything for CKK. Video guy. DOBO. Recruiting specialist. You name it. I remember how hated he was when he first started. Ended as one of the most solid players.
