I live in Phoenix metro, and last night a group of us were at an event where live music is playing while artists paint murals to the style of the music - I walked over to get another brew and saw two people with brand new UNLV gear on! I said go Rebs and they stopped and looked startled - they said they had just been to their first college basketball game ever in Vegas and fell in love with the school - bough new gear and flew back home as fans - we talked briefly, they bought me a beer and we went our separate ways. UNLV FANS ARE STILL GROWING....maybe not at the rate they were, but still nice to see.
