Youmans on Mitch&Pritch today. I caught the middle of it but I BELIEVE He said he thinks Pitino will land here. Pitino sent his financial guy out here to meet with Wynn and some people presumably to see how financially it would work here. (gives you insight to who is putting up money btw) Also said that Jessup is really pushing for Pasternack and has backing of Livengood and he thinks he might push hard to get "his guy" Pasternack. Jessup told TKM it's his call on the coach not hers. Said Vegas really needs to start pressing the envelope to make sure there isn't a silent coaching search where they say publicly they tried for Pitino but ultimately Pasternack was the choice all along. Said no doubt money is there for Pitino, but said if there isn't pressure from the town they'll settle for the lesser guy which will show in attendance. Doesn't think Jessup understands the magnitude and importance of getting this hire right.
