guys, I’m here to watch the car crashes and people dying.

Let’s talk about what you know about this sport.

Who do you guys have to win? Off the top of your head, what do you know about the sport.

dude, my exposure to F1 was from the cartoon, Transformers. There was an Autobot named Mirage and it was the first transformer that I ever owned. My Uncle when we visited California in 1984, he bought me the toy.

And so other that, that’s all I know about it.

You?

I watched the Netflix documentary, so I consider myself an expert. It's a sport with way to much money for the common fan to follow. The ticket prices are insane and the level of infrastructure they build for 1 race location is nuts. Verstappen is probably the likely favorite. He seems to own the F1 circuit these days, best car, best team, etc. The races themselves tend to be boring at the front for the most part, once position is established its really just up the the car not failing. Its the guys in the rear jockeying for points = money that create the havoc.

The race will be at 10:30 at night because of u know..European crowd.

Super excited. I’m gonna go to the maxim hotel and watch the race from atop the parking garage. That’s the best bet where to watch the race for free.

Will have video posted.

I think for all the negativity that people feel, the race itself will be a really good "show" which is all you can ask for from Vegas... Do I think they could've showcased the elements of the Vegas skyline better than hiding them behind grandstands, Im talking about you Bellagio Fountains, yes, but this is an International Mega-Event, and each location is like a Super Bowl worth of International coverage. Besides, it cant be worse than the "fake" ocean that Miami built for theirs with luxury yachts on trailers surrounded by plastic...

I just hope that they keep LV Blvd at one lane and continue to work on the 95 and 15 for the next couple of years.

I love trying to get around town with all of the lane closures and orange cones!

From my experience, traffic has sucked here since 1978

I didn’t start driving then, young man.

It’s gotten progressively worse each year that I’ve had my license. I will say that the influx of California drivers since covid really made the situation go from bad to I hate those SOB’s!
Just look how many drivers are on the streets with out of date license or temp stickers. I typically see cars 2-5 years out of date driving around with the police giving them a free pass to keep on trucking!

How many deaths do you predict?

+-1

It’s like Death Race 2000. I saw the barrier for Ellis Island Casino!! I thought there was a a chance for the car to crash at frontyard.

Did anyone go over the bridge on Flamingo!! Make it permanent.
