Just watched the highlight films for high school for Victor vs Arthur. Both great athletes with similar skill sets. Victor jumps out of the gym, dunks with his head above the rim, needs to develop a 15 to 20 foot jumper, rode the pine behind a NBA bound PF at Oklahoma. Arthur played soft competition in his high school, is also from Texas. He can shoot from the outside but on film is not a leaper. Arthur played this summer for his home countries team where he was introduced to men playing basketball, not the boys from the Christian leagues. He will be better for it too. I see a future for both at UNLV because Arthur is a shut down leaper. Both are athletic enough to acclimate to the rigors of mile high basketball in the MWC. Both will fit into DEFENSE first recruitment and can finish with the dish from McCabe, Gilbert, and ? to be determined. At present, it will be a fight for playing time. What do you think?
