You know how the rumor mill goes.
But after a few discussions tonight, I think there are some legs with Otz to ISU. My understanding is that the buyout money (for Otz and Proehm) is there from ISU and that’s a big sum. I have trouble wrapping my head around it, that you’d pay 8M just to get Otz through the door, then his contract in addition. If so, that shows you the power of being a power school.
I’m also understanding that if it’s offered, he will take it.
I’m not losing sleep over it, but it’s stronger than rumors from my end but certainly not anything concrete. But it is from a few (3) different people with completely different angles.
If this happens, I feel it would all transpire very quickly, perhaps even before the NCAAT tips.
