I was very surprised how some people on this site jumped on Doolin and said he was not an important part of the team and only played good verse Portland. In my opinion, UNLV would have at least 6 games in the loss column if he was not the point guard over the first 10 games. It should have been expected that Doolin would struggle after being sick only a couple of days ago.

Maybe those games aren't as close if we're not playing Doolins slow down type of ball. He was be bad for 37 minutes vs portland too. It gets a pass cause he had a great 3 minutes. His teams in the scrimmages both were outplayed by Kendall's teams. Doolin is a good back up on a top team and a calming force we neede to start the season but now this team has got to be Pats. The difference in defense is dramatic and he actually pushes the ball. Not to mention he uses the p/r where it's non existent with cody.
