I am aware of the feelings that Las Vegans have for him and that it is not possible to say anything positive about him without drawing out the negative feelings about him and what happened here but with that said.

He is a true point guard that is extremely fast, quick, great handles and a very good passer. Last night was the first time I have ever seen him play and am very impressed.

I dont think he will be in the Mountain West next year. The Blue Bloods will come calling for a pass first point guard that can feed their 4 & 5 star scorers.

Oh, he was a really good point guard, loved him in HS. He’s the type I like best. In fact, talent, size, etc …. I liked him better than Dedan out of HS.

But the head isn’t right.

Once Dedan leaves us next year, new coach should make the call and bring him home

But … and I have seen this happen more than once at UNLV … a kid with issues can fall into those same issues when they stay home.

And I know of local recruits that were passed up because of those potential issues as well. They had the talent, but their circles kept were going to hurt them.

As it turns out, some of them that weren’t recruited went elsewhere and they still had no problem finding problems.

I dont think there is a chance he ends up here for the reasons you bring up plus just from a PR stand point. In addition to that he is an elite talent and some big school is gonna want him.
