I saw that UNM dropped a tough one this weekend at home. Basically, UNM pulled a Webber, calling a timeout with 0.1 on the clock and they didn't have any timeouts. The tech FT's were hit and they were the difference in a win and the loss. Such an incredibly tough way to lose a game, especially when you were on a little bit of a roll.
That part I knew about. I didn't know the rest... And this makes it even tougher.
UNM was at home, a 16 point favorite, and they were up 15 points with under eight minutes remaining. Had to suck the life out of the fans - I know we know the feeling as well, but that one had to be especially tough because, even though it wasn't the toughest OOC by any stretch, they were performing better than most had expected.
