Jackson and ricky gonna be teammates. Woodard signs as a free agent.

Makes me wish Johnathon Baldwin had been able to go up there, too.Seattle Rebels!
I think he went to the PackersMakes me wish Johnathon Baldwin had been able to go up there, too.
Damn!Woodard was waived by Seattle today.
Was talking about this today. Wonder if he'd be inclined to be a GA with Odom/Scherer moreso than UNLV. Kind of a bummer, but I could see that as the most likely wayIf he doesn't end up playing, I would love to see him come back into coaching at UNLV!
Cut within a week shows how tough it is but also how slow he is and its more of the latter. Looked discombobulated the first couple of days. Maybe he is a product of knowing Odom's defense and there was no one better to play. Great college player. Hope Woodard catches on somewhere.Wow, that was quick. You're basically going through drills basic training. Just tells you how difficult it is to make it. His agent if he has one, has got to work the phones and get him another chance. A real chance.
I think theres a zero percent chance he affiliates with Vegas/UNLV moving forward. Scherer and Odom are gone.If he doesn't end up playing, I would love to see him come back into coaching at UNLV!
If I recall, he ran a 4.88 on his pro day. He will remain one of my favorite Rebels.Cut within a week shows how tough it is but also how slow he is and its more of the latter. Great achievement nonetheless. I do not think that his playing days are over if he chooses to keep pursuing this sport. Woodard is one of the best leaders UNLV has ever seen and was a hell of a player. He will be good at whatever he chooses to pursue. If I recall, he ran a 4.88 on his pro day. To your point, only 7.3% of high school players make it to the NCAA.
Only 1.6% of all NCAA football players make it to a camp. Its still a great achievement.
Hopefully he sees some love at the Arena level or in Canada if another team doesn't give him a shot. If not, if I recall he wants to be a dentist. Not a bad career choice at all.
I don't know if I can call it zero percent. He still has friends on the staff and on the roster. The fanbase has loved him, and that's a little hard to forget. With that being said, I do think he'll take another stab at football as a coach. Him and Catalon will eventually end up on Odoms or Scherer's staff.I think theres a zero percent chance he affiliates with Vegas/UNLV moving forward. Scherer and Odom are gone.
That was my consideration. He could be a GA lots of places, but there are 3 reasonable options that come to mind for him to start his coaching career, should it come to that.I think theres a zero percent chance he affiliates with Vegas/UNLV moving forward. Scherer and Odom are gone.
Maybe a practice squad guy too- good moneyIf I recall, he ran a 4.88 on his pro day. He will remain one of my favorite Rebels.

He may need to go this route, and work up from there. Personally, I think he's a guy that is a gamer, but his skills and reads don't show up in his 40 times, or things like that. He feels like a Patriots type of player to me.Maybe a practice squad guy too- good money
