A couple of our own are becoming successful in the NBA.
DJJ aka Airplane Mode is making his mark with the playoff bound Miami Heat. Last night played 34 minutes and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. He plays good defense for them too. Injuries are the only thing that’s held him back this year and last. They really like him in Miami.
C Wood is becoming a consistent stud for the Pistons off the bench. Perfect stretch big man for today’s game while hitting 3’s with confidence. Played 32 minutes and had 21 and 8 tonight. You can tell Wood is putting in work on his game and is about to get paid when a free agent.
No more G league for either of these guys. I’m very happy for them and they are at least keeping the UNLV “brand” alive for some semblance of recruiting in the future.
