with college football ... when will they start, how many games will be played, will fans be allowed, will travel be minimized ... things will be different in some way(s). And what is acceptable to some will be completely unacceptable to other schools. Yet you cannot have different sets of rules.

Football “has” to be played. There is no better distraction, college and especially the NFL. The NFL is smaller, more organized, they can be unified in what they do. Tougher with college football. It’s more rudderless and you have super powerful schools and you have many powerless wimps.

When you think about it, if things are “unacceptable” to the P5, there’s no better time to fully sever and break away from the G5 and form their own association. I don’t know what’ll happen. But things will look awfully different no matter what happens.
