Which would be most likely to draw your interest?

I know it's better for our conference and, in turn helps UNLV, for the MWC to be competitive in the dance. That said, I hate all the MWC teams that may get a bid and hope they all lose by 30 in the opening round.

I'd travel to see the Rebels in the NIT. I won't be traveling to see the Lady Rebels. Not a purposeful knock on them, but I just don't have the emotional investment in the Lady Rebels to shuck out a grand to go see them.
As far as the others go, If the Rebels aren't in it I barely watch it and could care less if they make the S 16.

Same. Just don't have the same level of emotional investment in the women's team as I do the men's team. Tark's Rebels teams shaped my teen years. You can't top nostalgia like that but I will be paying attention to the Lady Rebels throughout the tournamnet and watching/listening when available. As for the rest of the MWC I will root for them to win and represent the conference but I'm not going out of my way to watch any of their games. I can barely sit to watch ANY non-UNLV game as it is now. These players are in and out and build no familiarity, no growth, no rivalries.
Love that the Lday Rebs are in the Trny. Probably won’t invest the time to watch them on YC but will follow the scores online and be rooting for them for sure. As was posted earlier, I just haven’t become as invested in the women’s team as I have the men (since the early 80s). It takes time to build a vested interest which requires winning over a period of time. Sincerely hoping the Lady Rebels do that and LaRoque (sp?) doesn’t bolt for a P5 school. She and CKK have a chance to build long term powerhouse teams if they stick around. As many problems and self inflicted wounds UNLV has had over the decades it still remains a gold mine of opportunity to a coach who wants to build it.
I know some people want to support a program just because it is UNLV, but in reality, the play level of the Lady Rebels would be about that of a high school team. When is the last time you went to a high school basketball game?
I don’t know where people live in the country, or the world for that matter, but it always seems like the out-of-towners are the ones telling the locals that we need to attend everything.
I was a season ticket holder for 20 years. I’m good with watching on tv for the most part now. That’s still support in my book.

I know it’s really hard to support women’s Athletics but Coach Lindy really has a great product. She’s done a fantastic job at recruiting Las Vegas kids.
There’s no doubt about the difference level of athleticism between guys and women.
I haven’t been to a high school basketball game since the good ole Findlay/Bishop Gorman days but those were high level games being played.
Just because we are not in the CBI that does not mean we did not get an invite. But it is correct we are not in the CBI.
Might have helped us if we weren’t boat raced by them.
But with them getting a home game, they’ll get the attendance.

This is embarrassing..and we are all a part of the MWC doing so bad.
Hey man, didn’t you see the articles saying how good this conference is? Once the “experts” spoke, it was cemented in stone. Nevermind that your eyes told you we were top heavy with mediocrity and subpar to absolute garbage below that - your eyes were wrong; your brain was wrong, the experts in the field were right.
Think for yourselves, don’t lend your mind to others to do your thinking for them would be my advice.
