Yes we lost.We should have, after all of the mental mistakes we made.Where did we go wrong?The primary issues were leadership as well as rotations,outside of the free throw terrors.We came out the 2nd half with energy with DM,DJ,PM,which put us up 37-32,and it was our best defensive effort.I thought IKE was in the game too long over Cornish, early 2nd half,and it cost us.We didnt get any hustle plays from Seagers,or defense,and he also showed no leadership out there.Yes we saw mental errors,yes we saw free throw terror,ultimately lack of leadership, from our experienced perimeter players, killed us.DM is at the top of the key looking for a guard,thats recipe for doom,especially when no guard acts as if they want the rock.Where is our leadership from the seniors?At the end of the game,yes we want Carter/Zimm/DJ offensively.In defense of Staff decision to go with DM late, had more to do with foul issues with DJ.Carter played well,Zimm hurt us from the free throw,DM had a mental coma down the stretch..Cornish played well i thought,also missed crucial free throw which would have tied it.Pat/Seagers have got to show more leadership out there.
