If we indeed had access to $ 300 million for a new stadium the Raiders deal was a huge screw up. A link to photos of the new UAB stadium are below. Total $ 174 million. Seats 45,000. Dirt work began last month. Built by the city and leased by UAB ( Can play up to 10 annual home games ). Lease rate of $25000 per game for the first 10 years.
