Tough to give a full report with position groups all in separate drills most of the day.

Things that were noticable, O-Line looked bigger. J-Sanders being the exception, he just looks like a guy who's frame may have peaked.

Gabe McCoy has moved to linebacker, although in certain situations he did line up at DE. Vaolaga also played standing up and at DE with his hand in the dirt. I really think he has got to stay healthy this year for our defense to be able to apply consistent pressure on the QB.

DBs had good days in 7v7. Tim Hough stood out.

Offensively Whitely, Thomas and Campbell all looked sharp. Campbell made a sick cut for a long run. Thomas has some of the best feet/balance I have seen.

Receivers had a rough day. A number of dropped passes some poor route running.

Stanton head and shoulders above Sneed and Palandech. Sneed probably had the 2nd best day. Palandech really struggled with accuracy and touch. The #2 job is really up for grabs...Sneed could push Palandech.

Someone mentioned last year that Thomas would be better suited as a slot receiver than a running back. After watching him today, I kind of agree. His biggest problem last year was getting stuffed at the line. Get him a little bit past the line, and no one can catch him.
