Overall i think we showed some heart,in what i would call ,a very ugly game.The kids did not quit,and thats very important,moving forward.Again..our guards are not makin,g the game easy for themselves or others.Most of our assist are coming from DM,Zimm,and Carter,and thats an issue,as i see it.IKE IKE IKE!Please look at the film.Offensively we have an identity crisis.The ball should touch Zimm hands every time down the court.WHY?He simply is a smart player,who understands quality shot selection,and he is the top passer on the team outside of Carter,DM,PM.This is a fact!Poysner allows the game to come to him,which is why he should get all of Cornish mins,and some of IKE,when he is trying to run over the defense.I like the way DJ played today.A lot of toughness,a lot of defense.Also on the perimeter,Poysner seems more stable defensively than IKE and Cornish..The young man is gonna be a good one.Mr Seagers? I love your attitude.What i need still,is for you to slow down,hold your head up,and value the ROCK.If the trio of PM,IKE,Seagers dont start valuing the ROCK,we are in for some rude awakenings vs quality guards.I would get Poysner more mins so we dont have an issue come Conference time.DM is not out there to score much,he is asked to work hard on D,as well as rebound.I can live with 3 shots,or getting to the free throw line,as long as he continues to play hard.His effort has come a long ways this year,as with Carter.
