Shivers is a high school teammate of Rebel commit LB Seth Robinson, who will be here visiting this weekend. If Shivers tags along that will be a good sign.

Shivers was committed to SDSU until last week, and the reasons for the breakup with SDSU are unclear. He mentioned anticipated changes in the program there. He also mentioned last week that he would be talking to UCLA, Cal, and UNLV (we offered him last spring, UCLA and Cal have not yet). New Mexico has since offered him.
