I doubt it. We aren’t #1 Carolina. Over on their boards they are just hoping to have the place half full and for a pep band to show up.

Is that UNCs lot in life? To be ranked #1 and then immediately upset by mid-majors?

NIU has only played a couple of games this season in the 7,018 seat McLeod Center. The home crowds have averaged only about half full.

What does raise a little concern is their ability to slow us down. Their pace of play is muuuuuch slower than ours and that might be an issue.

They have a couple guys that are very good on the boards this may be the toughest rebound contest to date. We are going to have to go real hard after the boards if we are going to be able to come out on top of that category.
