Was listening to the pregame on the radio and Menzies talked about how we need Senior leadership in these big games, well at the half our 3 seniors combined for 3 pts & 5 rebounds. Juice with 1 pt and 2 rebounds. It didn't really get any better from there for Juice or Robo. Robo finished with a whopping 0 pts & 1 Assist. Quite a stat line. I will give Juice a pass for having a bad game but Robo needs to give up his starter position to Hardy and let him mature with more time on the floor.

It's starting to look like Diong might have been overachieving early on due to smaller and less talented opposition. Time will tell. Hamilton looks like a player and needs to be on the floor with Clyburn and Hardy. We need to get all available offense in the game as much as possible.

Liked what I saw from JTT and Twambe tonight. Dembele may have seen the last of his minutes tonight. It is painfully obvious that he will be a practice player if he remains here,

Even with all the bad tonight the positive was that if we make a couple more free throws and they don't bank in three 3's we win this game in spite of Juice playing his worst game ever as a Rebel.

Robo should give it up? He’s not penciling himself as the starter.

I like that three of the four freshman are contributing. I don’t understand why Coupet gets no run because every time he plays he guards someone. That match up 1-3-1 they play every once in a while could be really scary with him running baseline or at the point. I’d like to see him get some of Beck’s minutes. Is Hardy ever gonna be a real point guard? I don’t think so. But he can be an effective player going forward, especially if either or both of this year’s pg recruits pan out. I don’t wanna give up on Diong. It’s hard to say what he can or cannot do against better comp, especially offensively, when he didn’t get a single entry pass the whole game. Overall, I remain hopeful in spite of the patchy play and in spite of all the hatred of the coach. He’s not perfect and there are things to criticize but I still think patience is in order. I like the defensive effort; I like that it is getting more and more regular and consistent. I look forward with enthusiasm to the Hawaii trip and then to conference play.

In spite of Diong’s game today, he’s going to be a good one. Maybe not nationally but certainly conference wise.

I agree with you, it’s just that earlier in the season peeps were talking about him going to the NBA sooner rather than later. Not too worried about that now as he still has a long way to go.

Yeah, that’s kind of typical talk. Always take the competition into consideration when annointing a player (HS highlights) or a team. Today was the first real opponent we played. That we lost to those other teams doesn’t make them good.

We had folks worried about juice going to NBA, he so limited and 3 straight 5 turnover games, he needs to shoot those 7 feet shots instead of trying to pass. Never pass it to dembele!
