This could be really helpful for Vegas

Disney resort locate in Kissimmee Florida... in the outskirts of Orlando, FL. The middle of no where. Vegas need to counter that...MGM IS not isolated....

I know it would help to some extent, but how much would it really help Las Vegas? Without fans to drive ticket sales, rooms, drinks, etc., etc., it's just the NBA renting out a portion of rooms (a lot, I get that) and venues. Would help to some extent obviously, but it's not the same as the NBA saying mid normal season "we're going to Vegas!"

Am I neglecting to consider something?

All NBA games in one city? That will $ millions or maybe $ Billions

Remember this is a tourism city. Even while hotel - casinos may or may not be open, or may be partially open, the visual advertising from NBA games will keep Las Vegas in the minds of millions of potential tourist, which in the long run may help speed up the recovery of the tourism industry. Las Vegas is going to need to be very creative in order to build back up our tax base, and in order to save as many jobs as possible in tourism, and those in all industries in this state. Even the smallest of events may be important in LV for the foreseeable future!

Same logic the Raider used in their total valuation of economic impact of stadium. They accounted for a 9-figure total in economic impact solely based on the name Las Vegas being out there on TV.

Sure, it won't hurt. But it's not like Branson, Missouri, where people forget that it exists until it's mentioned on TV. Again, I'm not saying it's going to hurt Vegas or not even that it won't help...

fans will show up wherever these they just wont go in. any city will have a much needed windfall to get this
