my boss sucks.
I was told to leave work at 10 am so I could attend this snooze fest with 450 other fans.
I actually tried to NOT go. I asked people who I knew couldn’t work for me to work for me. Show up at work, didn’t ask anyone to work for me. Fully intended on missing it. I’ve worked there for over 20 years so obviously everyone knows that I go to every game and I only work a couple days in March. My boss read there was a game today, came out and saw me; told my boss I didn’t schedule the day off, it’s no big deal, then I was told to go to the game.
Obviously, I could very easily say no and just as easily not go. And I could have done that any point along the way. But it looks like I’ll actually be there to increase attendance by 0.036%. Yip-friggin-eee!
