After Utah State loses to a pitiful Air Force team, a Wyoming squad that can't play on the road goes in and beats Fresno by double digits..... winning on the road in the MWC? It's a big part of what used to make this conference tough. Even decent teams were tough at home. Not so much anymore. It's the most successful road teams have ever been in this conference. To me, that's a big part of the display of absolute mediocrity.
Sigh - with a win tomorrow, UNLV can climb into a four way tie for 4th place. Which means you are as close to 4th place as you are to 7th place. If we drop the game (we won't), we will be in sole possession of 7th place. I guess we are "lucky" AFA actually beat Utah State otherwise a loss (we WILL win) would put UNLV with USU above AFA, SJSU and CSU for a tie for 7th.
