…For the second time so far this season, Shakur Juiston has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week. We had a pretty good idea what we were getting in McCoy. Although he was the JUCO player of the year, I’m still not sure we knew just what a gem we had in Juice.

He joins teammate Brandon McCoy as a two-time winner of the honor. I won’t be at all surprised to see his name there again, before this season is done.

How we finish will matter, but objectively, is there another front court player that would deserve to bump one of them? Maybe Pope?

Kid from Fresno State maybe? If he finishes very well he could be in the conversation, but I think he's more a scorer than a well rounded player.
