I love Jordan Cornish's effort and his game. How can we as a fan base give him the confidence he needs? I'm open to suggestions.

I support his transfer after the season. Joke. He will be fine but he can't get down on himself. The shots will fall but he needs to keep up the intensity on defense when the offense is not going his way.

He is a good player and a good guy. I think a good marker for where he should be is somewhere in the middle. Last year he was brimming with confidence so he shot maybe a little better than his form would support for consistency.

The guy got stronger and fitter by working hard in the off season, just like we hope they all will do. He's rebounding and defending, and his shot will come around.

I've read nothing that would lead me to question JC's confidence.

Kid is a stud. Brings plenty to the table other than the 3-ball. He'll keep shooting, and I fully expect they'll start falling. Great young Rebel.

he's killing me right now. i do like that he's penetrating more, but a lot of the time he seems to be going bull in a china shop style. needs to control himself.

seeing the form on his shot made me think last year he'd be shooting like he is this year. it's a crooked jump shot but he was successful with it. Larry Bird's shot was ugly as sin and he was deadly.

he's got to keep shooting, but everytime he shoots i find myself wishing someone else had taken the shot.

hope he breaks out VERY soon.

Very tough spot coaching wise. You need him to keep shooting to get out of it, but he isn't just missing, he isn't even close right now.

I had the opportunity to meet some of his family after both the Chaminade and Indiana games (his Dad Albert is a super nice guy). Albert says JC is just in a mental rut, particularly when shooting free throws. He says Jordan is making an effort to not put so much thought into his shots, but has been working hard to find his stroke.

Hopefully a week off will help clear his mind so he can have a good game against Oregon.
