I went to the NBA Summer League games today. Zimm did not see the floor today. Sad story in the making. Chris Wood got in briefly for the Suns. Didn't look real happy but he has filled out quite a bit. Obekpa got more playing time than Chris Wood. Derrick Jones is gonna stick around. He is still growing and filling out and still has that great quickness and agility. At times he was guarding the point guard. Lock down D like Augmon. Rashad Vaughn is a really good offensive player and had a good day today. Thon Maker hasn't met a shot he won't take, and miss.
In other news, Lonzo Ball looked totally lost and confused as to what a #2 pick should be doing. It's gotta be the shoes, nobody is gonna pony up $50 for those shoes let alone $500 if he can't play better than that. Luckily the Lakers had Brandon Ingraham on the court. He's gonna be a good one. The 2 Jackson's really stood out to me today. Justin Jackson for Sacramento and Josh Jackson for the Suns.
On a side note it was fun to see the Mack with that many peeps in it again. The lower bowl was full and the top was about 40%.
