Recruiting is pretty decent around both programs for once. It’s been a very long time if ever!
We have the #3 recruiting class in the G5 according to 247 Sports.
#64 nationally and #1 in the MWC as of right now!
Have we ever been ranked higher than 64 in recruiting?
I'm guessing USF and Miami (OH) are the two ahead of us.
Based upon what? Quality or quantity? UNLV have some serious highly quality ranked recruits.
So most places factor recruit score and number of recruits in some way. Rivals and 247 use an average score per recruit, On3 figures the average of the top recruits based on the average class size of P5 schools. So if we signed 33 guys and the average P5 class was 22, we would only compile the average score of the top 22 to judge class strength. I'm not sure how ESPN figures it--seems like raw score generate by all the recruit rankings but I couldn't find any explanation.
