Wanted to update you all as you were very forthcoming and extended well wishes for my sons recruitment. I want to be respectful of the UNLV board and not mentioning competitor but did want to mention while we did not hear from the UNLV staff, my son was extended an offer by a competitor in the mountain west conference (along with 2 other offers from other conferences). And while it would have been nice to be a part of the family here, when it comes to recruiting, its not so much about like/ dislikes but more about timing and how the numbers play out for kids, needs of staff and relationships. The most important is that when a team gets stronger, it helps to make the conference strong and UNLV appears to be headed in that direction. Well take care and will be talking to you guys soon

Not part of that group but congratulations to your son on his commitment and opportunity. Regardless of where he landed, getting that chance is a huge accomplishment..Best of luck..
I'm happy that your son will be getting an opportunity to play D1 Football. I hope that he remains healthy throughout his career and is productive in every game during the season except for one.
Good Luck it would have been nice to see him as a Rebel but he picked a great place to live. Anxious to see his progress once a year.
I was thinking of your son last week, hoping to see his name among the UNLV incoming. Glad he was able to catch on somewhere, competitor or not. I wish him, you and your family well on this new and exciting chapter of your lives. I hope he plays well, stays healthy, and his new team crashes whenever they play the Rebs! ;-)

Parker Baldwin out of Arkansas apparently was a Hauck recruit and followed him to SDSU. I thought UNLV offered him apparently not, he looks on film like good player good size, speed and athleticism.I would have liked to see him a Rebel.
