It would be crazy to not have a Spring game considering that is a good time to get a boost in season ticket sales! The goal should be to sell out the bottom section for season tickets this year. Can’t recall the exact date but later this year than usual.
And I do think they’ll be open to the public (I know there was talk of putting in some stands.
Don’t know if there will be a spring game though.
Take Odom's script and follow it exactly. It would be crazy to not have a Spring game considering that is a good time to get a boost in season ticket sales! The goal should be to sell out the bottom section for season tickets this year.
The goal is, sellout for UCLA.It would be crazy to not have a Spring game considering that is a good time to get a boost in season ticket sales! The goal should be to sell out the bottom section for season tickets this year.
You are not going to sellout the season tickets for entire stadium. Season ticket sales are more important on an overall financial basis than a single game, but when it comes to optics, a sellout verse UCLA could go a long way towards getting a Big12 invite. Personally I expect at least 50K, and wouldn't be surprised if the number goes up towards 60K, for the UCLA game. I would expect at least 80% of the fans at the game are UNLV fans since UCLA hasn't shown they are a really good travel school in the past! The goal is, sellout for UCLA.
The goal isn’t sellout season tickets, this isn’t Notre Dame or Ohio State or Penn State. You are not going to sellout the season tickets for entire stadium. Per an article out today from Grimala at the Sun: The 2025 team has just begun offseason workouts, but they won’t hit the field until spring practice begins on March 27. And it may take even longer for McDuffie to figure out what the Scarlet and Gray are capable of under new head coach Dan Mullen. https://lasvegassun.com/news/2025/mar/05/marsel-mcduffie-excited-to-see-what-unlv-football/I thought I saw a graphic that showed spring practice starting end of March and concluding 4/26. Can’t find the actual graphic though
If we can increase the season ticket sales, break the attendance record at the UCLA game, only one man can do it. It's not Mullen. It's not the AD. It's the guy with a 4 foot Stache! The goal isn’t sellout season tickets, this isn’t Notre Dame or Ohio State or Penn State.
But the goal is to sellout UCLA. I don’t think it will happen but I do think we will break an attendance record and yes, most of that will be single ticket sales.
If you can make a venue the place to be … get it rocking … it’s attractive. I hate the Mack now because it’s a morgue aside from one or two games per year. And it used to rock, even with 14K.
Now that most of the WOKE world has been pushed back into their holes, it is much more likely they could bring back Hey Reb!If we can increase the season ticket sales, break the attendance record at the UCLA game, only one man can do it. It's not Mullen. It's not the AD. It's the guy with a 4 foot Stache!
You add everything UNLV has done and reintroduce HeyReb during our first home game and we have the perfect storm for a perfect season. The Donkey from Boise won't even know what hit them.
During this Prez change, we need to hit social strong with this message. If filling those seats are as important as I think it'll be. Especially when it comes to our future P4 invite.
I'll make you a bet it would. Your girlfriend's 3" mustache verse my 5" bush.Yeah, that's it. Bring HeyReb back will boost ticket sales. 🤣
Meister, you're one of my favorite posters.Yeah, that's it. Bring HeyReb back will boost ticket sales. 🤣
Yeah, that's the ticket!Yeah, that's it. Bring HeyReb back will boost ticket sales. 🤣
C'mon. You know you miss that big yuge stache rubbing it's hairy hairs across your large hairy nose hairs like a seesaw.Yeah, that's the ticket!
The percentage of UNLV fans may not be as high as you think. For a lot of the UCLA fans who may attend this game, it really isn't a travel game because they live in Las Vegas already. They just have to go to the closet, pull out their Bruins gear, and drive (or whatever) across town.I would expect at least 80% of the fans at the game are UNLV fans since UCLA hasn't shown they are a really good travel school in the past!
I love that there is some sort of push to get a big crowd for this game. The goal isn’t sellout season tickets, this isn’t Notre Dame or Ohio State or Penn State.

When UCLA last played at UNLV at Sam Boyd, there really were not that many UCLA fans at the game. UCLA was ranked #13 in the nation and there were just over 31K at the game. I went to the game and would guess that UCLA has around 8-10K at that game with most of the east side of the stadium. Currently UCLA sucks as a team and only averaged mid 40's last season with the only exception being the USC v UCLA game with 59K. They only had about 35K at home verse Fresno State, so I do not really expect them to travel well, or have enough alumni in Las Vegas that will be interested in attending the game. If they can't get decent crowds at home verse top ranked Oregon and Indiana, why do you think they will bring a good crowd to Las Vegas? The percentage of UNLV fans may not be as high as you think.
