Oh good. Thanks. Most of us over there are not paying subscribers (me either, I was for many years but dropped for reasons not worth mentioning). So we feel a bit helpless. I may re-subscribe just so I can get a message to Rivals.
But if anyone wants to know about CBD gummies, we have had 15 posts in the last two hours on them.....
I could flip a switch somewhere that forces new signups to be approved before posting. Just gotta get to it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just curious. Have you ever tried navigating to the WazzuWatch site and see if you have mod/admin powers there? You could experiment on them with signup approval. I've found it curious that I can navigate to their site and actually not have to login if I'm already logged in here. They just recognize me as being logged in and I've never even had to sign up at their site.
May not work but, just a thought going through my head.
Well that's like me coming over here - I log into my (free) Rivals account, and I'm logged in here as well. Log out here, I'm logged out there. Seems like many Rivals sites require you to be a paying subscriber to post or eve read their boards (like our subscriber-only board). Might be the only option, but my cheap Coug brethren, well me too, kind of balk at that horrible $9.99/month fee. Couple of bucks more than one frufie beer at the bar.......

Hey @Loyal Coug1 what do you think of the speculation out there about the remaining PAC2 joining with some ACC teams to go into the Big 12? It would almost end up being a full Big12/Pac12 merger other than the few B1G teams and the snobby schools in the bay area.I thought this was it!
At least the few spam that came on this site were quickly gone. On the Washington State site it is a mess!
I have seen no such recent speculation. There is an ESPN article on the ACC girding their loins to fight the FSU/Clemson lawsuit (link below). That league isn't going anywhere. The Big-12 doesn't want us. That was made clear a year ago and nothing has changed. The way I see it, the Big-12 likely will just hunker down and watch the ACC mess. 4 new teams along with the 4 last year? And I don't have any interest in a coast to coast league. Period.
My opinion remains unchanged. The Alaska Air PacWest-14. If we don't get that done, then the Pac-2 waits until we are even riper roadkill and beg the MW to take us, losing $30M in BBall money in the process (as of 7/1/26)

We didn’t move here until mid-1973, I believe. I think I had my 5th birthday on the road while moving from Chicago to Vegas. Probably somewhere around Albuquerque. Fifty one years to the day. My uncle Tony was here just a bit before we were, maybe a year and a half in late 1971. He originally lived off of the Eastern/Desert Inn area, my family moved to the Washington/Decatur area. Then within a year, we purchased homes in the same neighborhood, corner lots with about 20 houses separating us … that was near Paradise Park, smack dab center of Eastern/Flamingo/Tropicana/Pecos (Pecos was a dirt road back then).
I remember beyond Tropicana looking south, Sunset Park looked like an oasis. A green patch with green trees beyond 5 miles of pristine desert, some flat, some soft dunes. Tons of snakes and lizards of many different types. And nothing but clean desert beyond Sunset Park aside from some homes (I think they called it Wishing Well).
Used to be a really good city.
Moved her in January 1975. Went horse riding at stables out towards sunset park via dirt roads. Currently live in Paradise Crest which use to be the home of many of the Casino leaders, Doctors, Lawyers, etc... I knew many of the kids, while growing up in the neighborhood, of the casino and union leaders who had connections to everyone in town. Back then people ended up buried in the desert, but it rarely ever happened to the average person, graffiti was almost non-existent, trash was rare, and you could get a Prime Rib for a couple of bucks. While we have a lot more things and people here now, it was a lot more fun while growing up going to high school and then college at UNLV! It was great getting jobs with a dad that was a Caesar's Palace VP.
Paradise Crest, right down the road. We had a sixth grade pick up/drop off there. That’s where Lonnie H lived, I went to school with his daughter Amy. 1st through 6th and then at Gorman.
Several times I dropped off or picked up Amy and Mary (MacDonald Neurosurgeon partner of Lonnie) from BG. Many times at same family parties, etc.... Families all knew each other.
I remember Mary as well, not as well though. I don’t think I went to school with her at Gorman, same graduating class of ‘86. I remember Amy from very early on at Lewis E Rowe through Kit Carson (not sure what middle school she went to, I went to Canon). I had a crush on Amy in 5th grade, she was with the hottie crowd with Ann Soli, Christine Akers, and later Monica Figura, Ashley Gaydosh, Lorelei Foresse.
Vegas was great back then.
Yup moved out here in 1985 from Tennessee. I was 9. Lived on a street called Lighthouse over on Bonanza/Pecos. I didn’t know what a juve hall was or what a swapmeet was.
When my parents bought the house it was only 85,000 bucks. I could see the 7-11 on Cheyenne and Rainbow from Tangle”hood”.

My parents asked for directions from this kid and he lied..we made a right and and it was supposed to be left.
Thats when I knew this was a shitty town.
We had this 10 inch Sanyo tv and I remember watching the news about the Spilotro’s all huddled up back in the day.
But this was a fantastic town growing up.
This kid took a piece of glass and cut up this lizard that he caught as we were waiting for the bus. Killed it and watched the tail wiggle.
Actually, there’s a lizard that lives outside the place I’m staying at now. I’ve seen him around.
