I went through to see what I thought going into this season. I feel like I saw this all coming, but that could just be selective memory. I feel like I predicted all of this, and if I can see it, why can't UNLV?

You think McCoy will be the first Rebel Freshman that DOESN'T underestimate the road in the conference? That dude is gonna slump once conference hits. Just like every other start frosh we've had.

We aren't going to win the conference. We aren't gonna win the MWCT. We aren't going dancing. We will finish between 4th and 8th like every ALL-NEW Rebel team of the past 10 years.

And then....

OOC is where new-talent wins. With every team trying to find its identity and little scouting available, a new-look team with a bunch of stars can get some good wins.

It all dries up by the time christmas rolls around. Freshman walls are found, scouting reports get deeper, confidence wanes and a new teams ceiling is found as more experienced teams get their rotation players up to speed.

The conference schedule is where this team will struggle reguardless.

So I'm not crazy. We are exactly where I thought we would be.

As a bonus, here is this...

It's not going to pretty. I'd be trying to get out now to avoid being a target of the inevitable blame game. LeBron started the pre-game around the trade deadline, complaining that he didn't have enough behind him. Poor Kevin Love, i don't know if he'll ever recover from he blame he's going to carry.
