Opening line has SDSU as a big favorite. That’s a lot of points for a bad offense to be laying. I’m guessing the books don’t expect Brumfield to play this week.

Concerning that Arroyo’s offense is so poor without Brum. Raises question around his system.

Who have we beaten? I sense doubt creeping back into Rebel minds. I know for sure after SJSU and Air Force put the whopping on us that around the league they're still saying, "same old Rebels."
Huge stretch run for Rebels. Are we the same old Rebels or is this a true regime change?

I've been around too long to not have huge doubt. Death and Taxes are said to be the only inevitable things in life - but a Rebel loss when a win is needed is right up there.

Don’t ask me questions with sad answers

Brum is playing. If he can't, Bailey will be fine. If not Friel will be fine as well. The problem is the first team members get accustom to these guys' tendencies. They are somewhat familiar now. Let's do this!

We all said that "barring injury" this team could be good. Well we lost our MVP for this stretch. Let alone 2 of our best WR options. Oh yeah and our best RB.

Honestly not sure what our record would be with all those guys healthy. It could very well be the same. But we are a different team without them, that's for sure.

I have a glimmer of hope that we can make 6 maybe 7 wins.

I think our guys have a shot Saturday. Especially getting everyone back healthier.

I watched the Fresno, San Diego game yesterday. San Diego's quarterback is a wild card, but their defense is legit. Can't believe that Haener lasted the whole game. Anyway, I view this game as a mid tier champion bout. with you as the challenger. Win and you enjoy mid tier recognition for the year. Lose-and it's back into the abyss.

4-5 at UNLV in November is not an abyss. It's a successful season.

We will win this weekend. UNLV will force two turnovers that lead to scores and we’ll pull out a close one (6-10 point range).

Do you think it could be a tough low scoring game? Fan Duels has it down to 6.5 I do not bet on sports. But the line has really come down. For entertainment purposes.

The team just seems like Jekyll and Hyde when Brum on the field. The team looks like top 25 team when Brum is healthy and happy. When he is out, the team looks like it cannot even beat a team from Sisters of the Poor.

I don't know what the over/under is for the game but I'm thinking that it will be around 28-21 or 27-17 in favor of us. (I could look up the o/u but I'm being lazy).

According to ESPN, the O/U is at 47, so your estimate of total points is pretty close. They still show STDSU as a 6.5 point favorite though.

If we're going to have a chance, our defense needs to step up too, in addition to the offense. In the past 3 games, we've given up 40, 42, and 44 points. Not great. Of course, it helps when the offense can move the ball and get you with some better field position, which we definitely didn't do in the SJSU and AFA games.

Why does everyone pick on the Sisters of the Poor? They take on all comers...
