This may be totally random but I found this interesting.
I watched The HBO special again last night. As they showed the final possession of the second Duke game, it struck me how posters would have reacted. If you remember Greg had fouled out and LJ brought the ball up the court, passed the ball to a surprised Hunt instead of taking the open three. Watching it now, you can't see a play forming. It was truly desperation.
If that happened today do you feel that people would be blaming Tark or LJ with the voracity the current players and coaches get (not just CDR, but even Krueger before him) or would Tark and LJ be somewhat immune due to the past success?
