We are gonna finish the conference season & MWC tournament on either a 9-0 or 8-1 run & go to the big dance. I like the way we are starting to play right now. I like the 8 man rotation we have settled into. I like that we can dominate the paint against almost anybody we play. I like that we shoot an incredible percentage around the rim. I like the progress we are making defensively. I like our team and I like our chances.

I forgot to mention the part about going to the Sweet 16!

We could, theoretically knock them out of the tournament. They might have already punched their ticket. But what if Martin is unable to return? And the Woof-pack goes on an extended losing streak?

Let's look over their schedule.Next up is Boise St.,on the road. Easily a loss.That's followed by a visit to Utah St. They've been problematic for several teams this season. Not just us. Martin's still side-lined, they could lose that one, as well.

Consecutive visits from San Jose St, and a Colorado St. team, in total disarray, are gimmes. They conclude the regular season, with a visit to the Thomas & Mack, and San Diego St. Without Martin, they could lose those also.

If they don't win the MW Tournament, I believe they will not be invited to the Dance. How sweet is that? I don't like to take advantage of a team, due to injury, but given their abominable behavior towards the Rebels last season, I won't lose any sleep over it. I'll just enjoy it, as just desserts.

I'd love it if we helped knock them out of the NCAA tournament. If we did it by beating them in the MWC tourney and sweeping them it would be poetic justice for the pathetic show of sportsmanship they displayed last year.
